INGRAM – Last Friday, June 7, the Ingram Police Department was made aware that the middle school and the high school in Ingram had been broken into by three individuals.
IPD reported that the schools had sustained thousands of dollars in damage and several items had been stolen.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers learned that a church that is located on Ingram Loop had also been broken into. The suspects also caused destruction at the church, according to Ingram law enforcement.
During an investigation of the incidences, IPD, with the help of community involvement discovered the identity of the three suspects.
Ingram PD stated that two of the three suspects had been arrested last year for breaking into the Ingram Elementary School.
The three suspects were arrested and charged for Burglary of both school buildings and Criminal Mischief for the destruction of the church and both of the schools, said IPD.
Among the three arrested suspects, one adult male was transported to the Kerr County Adult Detention Facility, and the two juveniles were turned over to Kerr County Juvenile Probation.
